The ACC (Architectural Control Committee) is comprised of volunteers who assist the HOA by reviewing all modification requests submitted by homeowners as directed by our Covenants and HOA Guidelines and Clarifications. The Purpose of the Architectural Control Committee is to assure that the installation, construction or alteration of any Structure on any Lot is in accordance with the standards determined by the Architectural Control Committee.
You may be wondering what things require the submission of a Modification Request Form? Per our Covenants, any structure modification requires the approval of the HOA before work commences. “Structure” doesn’t just mean a building; please refer to the Covenants Article I Definitions, Section 9 for a complete description. Additional guidance is also provided in our ACC Guidelines and Clarifications.
So next time you plan a major landscape project, install a fence, add a porch or a pool, remove a large amount of trees, and many other improvements to your property, please make sure to submit your Modification Request Form first. We'll review it and notify you as soon as possible of approval or request for additional information so you can start your project.
If you are repainting or re-roofing your house the same colors as the builder original, there is no need to submit a form. This has been a busy year with lots of improvements around Coggin's Farm.
The ACC thanks everyone for submitting forms and being patient while waiting a response. Let’s keep Coggin's Farm the beautiful, thriving community that we all love! And, if you’re looking for a way to be involved in your community, we always welcome additional committee members!
